  • Bad indigestion: This can be a result of intestinal cancer and issues regarding other parts of the digestive system.
  • Changes in the tongue or mouth that can be spotty: This is one that is closely related to oral cancer and also menopause.
  • Recurring fevers: A small but very telling symptom for your doctor.
  • Changes in the lymph notes: This is very common is several forms of cancer.
  • Coughing a lot: Some may think they have a common cold, but chronic coughing is a true sign of some forms of cancer.
  • Feeling tired or fatigued regularly: Most cancer patients experience persistent fatigue prior to getting their diagnosis.

How to Decrease Your Chances of Cancers

There are several methods to actually lower your risk for developing any types of cancer. Quitting smoking for one is a wonderful way to start. Losing weight, having regular visits with your doctor, getting mammograms, have a colonoscopy, and getting active also decrease risk. Keeping yourself fit and active can help the body ward off certain illnesses. Get screenings done to check for any types of cancer that you physician feels you may be at risk for. Stop drinking alcohol, and always aim to be stress free. Avoiding stress is a very big effort for some, but it can at least be decreased, and each time you give yourself a few moments to realize the joys in your life instead of those that stress you, you'll increase the grade on your health report card.
