Mojito's are great for parties and will spice up any get together. Whether it's a birthday party, girls get-together, event celebration, or whatever, this drink will fit in perfectly with any crowd.
There's just something about mojitos. The minty flavor mixed with the right amount of soda makes your taste buds go wild! But, why not switch up the typical mojito drink and create somthing with a little more pizzaz?
Try this tangerine mojito recipe to spice up your next gathering.
How to Make a Tangerine Mojito
- ½ Tangerine
- 2 Limes
- 2 teaspoons organic blue agave syrup
- 1 or 2 sprigs of fresh mint
- 2 ½ oz white rum
- 4 oz club soda
- slices of both tangerine or lime
- 1 cup ice
- Put the squeezed out tangerine juice, lime juice and agave syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add rum and ice.
- Shake for about 30 seconds until everything is combined.
- Serve in a glass with mint leaves, tangerines and limes!
If the tangerine flavor in the tangerine mojito is too tangy for you, you can switch out the tangerines with watermelon to create something a little more fresh-tasting. And, if you are craving a certain fruit, you can just mix it in and keep the rest of the ingredients the same. You can also switch out the tangerine or watermelon with pineapple or blueberries.
