Taylor Swift shared her deepest fears recently on Ellen.
Pop queen Taylor Swift recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new album, "1989." During the show, which airs Monday, Swift revealed two of her biggest and most irrational, fears.
The first? Sea urchins.
The sea creatures, which are found in all oceans, are not what you would consider a common fear. Yet when DeGeneres brought up the animal, Swift hid her face in her hands. Swift told the audience, "If you knew what sea urchins were, you would be terrified of them."
Swift went on to describe the havoc that these creatures can create.
"They're sitting there waiting to completely injure you," she said. “You step on one and it has barbs and it goes into whatever it touches, and then you have to go into the emergency room and get it surgically removed. You could lose your foot, you could lose your hand, you could lose your hand trying to get it off your foot."
Her deadpan delivery brought a lot of laughs from the audience.
DeGeneres didn't go as easy on the 24-year-old pop singer as the audience does.
"Let me tell you about sea urchins," DeGeneres said as she read from an index card, "they can puncture and injure you and cause swelling and redness."
Not missing a beat, Swift countered with, "Does that sounds like stuff that you want?"
The Grammy-award-winner also copped to the strange fear of being framed for a crime.
"Oh, so many people would frame me," she said. Swift believes the fear stems from the many tabloid stories she sees about herself that are completely untrue.
"You take it a step further and in a nightmare world, it’s being framed for murder."
DeGeneres was not convinced, saying "I don’t think that’s a step. That’s a leap."
Looks like the "Fearless" singer is not as brave as she’d like us to think!
