A new interactive app helps you save your garden and better care for your plants!
If you’re a garden lover, you know how relaxing a garden is and we know that you take pride in your gorgeous garden. But there’s nothing worse than seeing your plants and flowers starting to die and you have no idea why! Well, a new garden app may be able to help save your garden! The app is called The Plant Doctor and it was created by Scot Nelson who is a plant pathologist at the University of Hawaii’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources. Are you gardener? You may want to download this app now!
Interactive Gardening App Is Unlike Any Other
The Plant Doctor is a new app unlike any other! It helps people correctly identify and deal with plant pests and diseases. Even though it’s not the first app that can help users identify plant illnesses, it is the first app where you get the diagnosis from an actual person. Plus, it’s free!
So, if you notice something plaguing your garden, just fill out a form in the app, upload some photos and submit. The inventor, Nelson, will receive an email with your information. Usually, Nelson will answer within three hours of receiving it, depending on time zones.
Nelson receives hundreds of requests a month and has helped many gardeners such as farmers, master gardeners, gardening fanatics and plant quarantine inspectors around the world. So, if you notice a plant of yours becoming ill, use this new gardening app and save it!
