Yes, turkeys are usually cooked in the oven, but that doesn't mean that's the tastiest way they can be enjoyed. Here are a few different ways to prepare your bird this year that will give you family's taste buds a whole new experience.

This method requires a little more attentiveness than the oven, but the extra work is well worth it. You'll want to make sure you're using indirect heat and cooking at about 350 degrees. Depending on your preference, you may need to flip the turkey over halfway through the process.
Using a meat thermometer, make sure the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees in the thigh and 170 degrees in the breast. A 10-16 lb turkey will take about 2-3 hours to grill.
