7 years ago, a Toronto digital manager saw a pretty girl on Facebook and “poked” her. Fast forward, and now Steven Kawalit, 32, brought his girlfriend, Nafis Joon, to the Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park, California to propose. What a cute, romantic story!

Online dating doesn’t always end up in marriage, but in a story this sweet, we can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Joon was under the impression that her boyfriend won a private touring of the Facebook headquarters. Unbeknownst to her, Kawalit had already contacted Facebook ahead of time to ask if he could propose to her there. Facebook was totally on board and Kawalit proposed to Joon. Witnesses to the joyous event were Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO), Sheryl Sandberg (COO) and dozens of tables full of people nearby.

On one knee, Kawalit said, "People ask us how we met, we say 'mutual friends' and today you meet your mutual friends."

Joon said she was totally fooled and really thought they won a private tour. Facebook isn’t just about selfies and Instagram uploads. Now, it’s about poking that cute girl or guy you see and falling in love. Watch the video below.
