After a grueling eight years, 27-year-old Amanda Knox was cleared of murder charges by the Italian Supreme Court on Friday afternoon. Knox had been previously found guilty for the murder of her then-roommate Meredith Kercher, who was found stabbed and killed in their shared apartment while abroad in Italy in 2007. Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were charged for the murder but can now walk free.
Knox, who has already sworn to never return to Italy, shared a statement: "Regarding today’s decision of the Supreme Court of Italy, I am tremendously relieved and grateful for the decision of the Supreme Court of Italy."
Knox continued, "The knowledge of my innocence has given me strength in the darkest times of this ordeal. And throughout this ordeal, I have received invaluable support from family, friends, and strangers. To them, I say: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness has sustained me. I only wish that I could thank each and every one of you in person."
Taraji P. Henson Apologizes
Empire star Taraji P. Henson made headlines last month when she made accusations against USC regarding the treatment of her son who, at the time, she believed was being racially profiled on campus.
Henson stated in Uptown magazine that her 20-year-old son Marcel was being unfairly treated by police officers of the university.
"My child has been racially profiled. He was in Glendale, California and did exactly everything the cops told him to do, including letting them illegally search his car. It was bogus because they didn’t give him the ticket for what he was pulled over for."
Since the claims, though, video footage was released of the incident in which Henson’s son was actually let off easy. Although he was originally pulled over for driving through a crosswalk with blinking lights, he also had marijuana in the car.
In the video, the cop says "So I’m going to give you a citation for the marijuana. Listen, I’m not going to give you a citation for running that yellow because that will actually put a moving violation on your license and you’re going to have to do traffic school and all that stuff."
Henson apologized on her Instagram account and reminded followers, "As a mother in this case I over reacted and for that I apologize."

Fergie Turns 40
Believe it or not, Fergie is 40, and she is hotter than ever. The bombshell actress and "L.A. Love" singer rang in her birthday over the weekend with a '20s-themed party in Hollywood.
Wife to Josh Duhamel, 41, the former Black Eyed Peas member rocked a one-shouldered dress and big beautiful curls for her celebration over the weekend.
Fergie’s actor husband wished his wife a Happy Birthday on Instagram and Twitter. He captioned the sweet pic, "Happy birthday to my girl. 40 never looked so good!!"
Justin Timberlake’s Sweet Message for Jessica Biel
Okay, swoon. Justin Timberlake is not only arguably one of the most talented performers of our time, but he’s also about to become a daddy! Timberlake took home the iHeartRadio Innovator Award Sunday night at the iHeart Radio Music Awards in Los Angeles and had some sweet words for his wife of four years, Jessica Biel.
Clad in a royal blue suit, Timberlake graciously accepted the accolade. He began his speech, "You can’t have innovation without creation. I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator, my wife Jessica at home."
He added, "Honey I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet. Don’t worry, daddy’s heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

Not only did Timberlake thank his wife at home, he remained humble in his gratitude to his fans and fellow creators. In regards to a pre-taped segment of the award show honoring Timberlake, he continued, "Everyone who was in that piece, I love you too. Growing up in school, nobody called me close to an innovator. They called me different. They called me weird. They called me a couple other words I can’t say on TV."
He concluded, "If you’re a young person – like I used to be – and you’re at home and you're being called weird or different, I’m here to tell you your critics do not count. Their words will fade. You won’t."
