Catch up with Hollywood's highlights from this weekend.

With only a couple more weeks of summer lingering, celebs are making the most of what the season still has to offer. This weekend had a few birthdays, a lot of Instagram posts and yes.... even another celebrity baby announcement.

Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards aired live on FOX Sunday night from Los Angeles and the show was filled with young Hollywood’s favorite actors, singers, and personalities. Big moments of the night included: Selena Gomez crying and thanking her fans and mom as she accepted the surfboard trophy for Ultimate Choice Award and The Fault in Our Stars duo Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley speaking up for those battling cancer and telling their fans to live in the moment. Also J. Lo Fans were happy to see her reuniting with Maid in Manhattan costar Tyler Posey, who played the role of her son eleven years ago.

Kim Kardashian along with younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner accepted the award for Best Reality TV Series (Keeping Up With The Kardashians of course). After the award show, the sisters headed to Nobu Malibu where they celebrated Kylie’s 17th birthday, which was Sunday.

More Fallon Baby News

Ali Larter stopped by The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last week to promote her upcoming show Legends which premiered on TNT last Wednesday. But before that was discussed, the 38-year-old actress showed off her growing baby bump. Larter is expecting her second child with husband Hayes MacArthur. The couple are already parents to son Teddy, turning four in December. In fact, when Larter was pregnant the firs time around, she waited until her appearance on Fallon’s show to announce the sex of the baby, so it was natural for her to announce this pregnancy on the same stage.

Fallon, of course excited to hear the news, spoke to Larter’s belly during the show. "Hey buddy!" said the host. He also asked Larter how she’s been keeping the news under wraps.

“I just keep telling [people] I’ve been eating so many cheeseburgers,” the mom joked.

Giuliana Rancic Turning 40

Everyone’s favorite E! News host spent the weekend celebrating her upcoming birthday - she’ll be turning 40 on August 17 (and she is looking fab for it!). Her husband Bill Rancic was interviewed recently about plans for G’s celebration and he boasted that it was going to be big... and he was right!

On Friday afternoon after wrapping up E! News in Los Angeles, Rancic (blindfolded) boarded a private plane heading to the couple’s home base, Chicago. Aboard were all of Giuliana’s friends including co-anchor Jason Kennedy and fiancé Lauren Scruggs. Instagram posts from Giuliana and others showed off her champagne popping plane celebration. The big finale though was a 40th birthday party at their new restaurant RPM Steak which had its opening night on Saturday.

The Rock's Message

Dwayne Johnson a.k.a "The Rock" took to Instagram on Saturday to share a moving message about his mother, Ata, and cousin, Lina, regarding the drunk driving accident they were involved in. Johnson’s mother and cousin were hit head-on by a drunk driver and luckily survived, but The Rock used the opportunity to share a picture of the wreckage asking for people to think before they drive drunk. After seeing the pictured, fans are sure to be inspired.

Whitney Houston’s Birthday

Saturday, August 9, would have marked Whitney Houston’s 51st birthday. The Grammy-winner left behind daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown who shared a heartfelt message with her Twitter followers.

"GoodMorningWorld! & AGrandBeautifulPhenomenalWonderfulHappyHappyHappyBirthday2my amazingMommy!" She added, "2day is YOUR day, Iloveulady! @nickgordon"

Brown later shared an Instagram post celebrating her mother with a birthday cake. Since Houston’s tragic passing in February 2012, Bobbi Kristina has gone on to marry Nick Gordon this past January.
