Many celebrities are weary of jumping on the social media bandwagon and Jennifer Lawrence is the latest to confirm that we'll never find her on our Twitter timeline.

Lawrence and Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth sat down for Nick Grimshaw’s BBC 1 radio program on Tuesday. When asked about their online presence, the 24-year-old actress replied, "I will never get on Twitter. I’m not very good on phone or technology. I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me."

Lawrence admitted confusion about the social media platform.

"I don’t really understand what it is. It’s like this weird enigma that people talk about," said Lawrence.  "If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not."

That's too bad for us because we would love to see some funny tweets from the down-to-earth star. The actress does however have a verified Facebook fan page presumably run by her people.

The morning show host pointed out Lawrence’s serious answer on the topic. She joked, "I had that one locked and loaded. I really like laser focused [on the answer]…it’s because the internet has scorned me so much that I feel like it’s that girl in high school that I’m like, 'Oh you want to talk about her? Yeah I’ll do that!' Take my hoops off, I’m ready to go."

Note: "Take my hoops off, I’m ready to go" would be a fabulous tweet.

Lawrence does have a point though about being scorned on the internet. The actress was recently one of many victims of a nude photo leak that happened in September. Lawrence had private photos stolen from her iCloud account, which were later published on the internet.

In regard to the leak Lawrence said to Vanity Fair in October, "It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting."

She continued, "The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these web sites are responsible. Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it. It’s so beyond me. I just can’t imagine being that detached from humanity. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside."

While we won’t be catching the young star sharing her thoughts on social media, we hear her message loud and clear.
