Zelda Williams gets inked in honor of her late father.
Zelda Williams has rarely made appearances on social media since the tragic and sudden passing of her father, Robin Williams, in August. Wednesday afternoon, Zelda shared her latest tribute to her dad, which featured a delicate tattoo on her right wrist.
In the picture shared by the 25-year-old, the late William's birthday "7-21-51" is seen on her inner wrist while a hummingbird graces the side of her hand. Zelda captioned the photo, "For poppo. Thank you to the incomparable @Dr_Woo_SSC for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I’ll always put my hand out to shake with a smile."
The late actor’s daughter continued to say that she will be limiting her use on Instagram but will not delete her profile to ensure that scammers can’t misuse her name or family pictures.
Dr. Woo, Zelda’s chosen tattoo artist, is a well-known name to celebrities in Hollywood getting ink. He’s tattooed numerous celebrities including, Drake, Ellie Goulding, David Beckham, Justin Bieber and more. Dr. Woo is stationed at the Shamrock Social Club along the Sunset strip in Los Angeles, the same shop where Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett were seen the morning after this year’s Academy Awards.
Zelda continues to be active on Twitter after saying in August that she would be taking a break from all social media.
Williams along with her two brothers, Zak and Cody, gave heartbreaking statements after the death of their dad including Robin’s youngest child Cody, 22, who shared, "There are no words strong enough to describe the love and respect I have for my father. The world will never be the same without him. I will miss him and take him with me everywhere I go for the rest of my life, and will look forward, forever, to the moment when I get to see him again."
